Waldorf-style beef salad

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 150 g beef, cooked
  • ½ apple, sour
  • 1 handful of walnuts
  • 100 g celery, cooked
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • e.g. salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 10 minutes

Recycling leftovers

Peel and core the apple, and cut one half into small cubes. Dice the beef and celery in the same way. Roughly chop the walnuts. Mix all ingredients well with the mayonnaise and season with salt and pepper. Let it sit in the refrigerator for two hours. Then season again with salt and pepper. The original Waldorf salad is made with raw celery. However, since my husband was allergic to it, I cooked the root first.
