Quark-oil dough rolls

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g whole wheat flour
  • 250 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 10 tbsp milk
  • 100 ml sunflower oil
  • 1 m.-sized egg(s)
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 handful of seeds for sprinkling

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

With wholemeal flour

Mix together all ingredients except the seeds. This is best done using a dough hook on a hand mixer. Sprinkle the seeds (e.g. poppy seeds, sesame seeds, linseed, pumpkin seeds, and sunflower seeds) on a plate or in a shallow bowl. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) top and bottom heat. Form rolls with your hands, the size of a golf ball or a tennis ball. This works better if you dip your hands in a bowl of warm water every now and then. Roll the rolls in the seeds as desired, on both sides if you like. Then place them, leaving some space between them, on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake on the middle rack of the oven for 30 minutes.
