Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 200 g meatballs, small, from the stock, approx.
  • 250 g beans, white, from the can, approx.
  • 400 g tomato sauce, leftover or pureed tomatoes, approx.
  • ½ bell pepper(s), red
  • 150 g gnocchi, from the refrigerated section
  • 100 g cheese, grated
  • e.g. salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

quickly made with ingredients from the pantry

Dice the bell peppers, grate the cheese, and rinse the beans in a sieve and drain well. Place the gnocchi, meatballs, beans, and diced bell peppers in an ovenproof dish. Spread 400-500g of tomato sauce over the top. Season with salt and/or pepper, depending on the seasoning of the ingredients, and sprinkle with the grated cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 30-40 minutes. If the cheese browns too much, cover the dish with aluminum foil. Instead of homemade tomato sauce, you can use a package of tomato puree, e.g., Mediterranean-seasoned. Season the sauce with salt and/or pepper to taste. The specified amount is sufficient for 2-3 people.
