Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 300 g wholemeal spelt flour
- 200 g spelt flour, type 630
- 500 ml water, lukewarm
- 100 g sunflower seeds
- ½ cube of yeast, 21 g
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tsp honey
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 45 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 45 minutes
simple and quick preparation
Combine wholemeal spelt flour, spelt flour, and sunflower seeds in a bowl. Dissolve the yeast and salt in lukewarm water and add it to the other ingredients along with the honey. Knead everything with a hand mixer. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 45 minutes. Stir the dough once and pour it into a greased and floured 30 cm loaf pan. Brush the dough with a little olive oil. Place a cup of water in the oven and bake the bread for 50 minutes at 190°C (top/bottom heat). Remove from the pan and let cool.
