Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g Spätzle from the refrigerated section
  • 250 g cooked ham (toast ham) or other ham to taste
  • 1 bunch of spring onions
  • 3 eggs, boiled
  • salt and pepper
  • 200 g cheese, grated, variety according to taste
  • 250 ml Cremefine
  • 2 tbsp crème fraîche with herbs

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

raid the fridge

Place some of the spaetzle in a baking dish and season. Cut the ham into strips and arrange some on top of the spaetzle. Cut the eggs into even slices, e.g., using an egg slicer. Arrange a few slices over the ham. Sprinkle the finely chopped spring onions on top and season again as desired. Repeat this process until all of the onions are used up, finishing with the spaetzle. Mix the cremefine and crème fraîche together and pour over the casserole. Sprinkle some of the grated cheese on top. Place the casserole in the oven preheated to approx. 180°C (top/bottom heat). After 30 minutes, add the remaining cheese. After another 5 minutes, the casserole is ready. Tip: Using the grill function, the cheese gets a beautiful brown color.
