Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 375 g flour, type 550
  • ½ cube of yeast
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • ¼ liter milk, maybe a little more
  • 125 g oat flakes, wholemeal
  • ½ tbsp salt
  • some milk, for spreading on the rolls
  • some poppy seeds, sesame

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 45 minutes

Prepare a yeast dough from the first 6 ingredients and knead vigorously for about 10 minutes. Then let the dough rise until it has significantly increased in volume. Turn it out onto a floured work surface and form about 6 rolls. Let it rise again for about 30 minutes. Brush the rolls with milk and sprinkle with poppy seeds, sesame seeds, or whatever you like. Bake the rolls in a preheated oven at 185 degrees Celsius for about 20-25 minutes.
