Franconian bread salad

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 3 pretzels
  • 8 grilled sausages (Nuremberg or Franconian)
  • e.g. butter for frying
  • 1 bunch of radishes
  • 1 bunch of spring onions
  • 2 tbsp mustard, sweet
  • n. B. vinegar
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

simple, great for using up leftovers

Chop the pretzels into small pieces and fry them in a pan with (a generous amount of) butter until golden brown. Fry the sausages, if not already cooked, and let them cool, then chop them into small pieces. Clean the radishes and slice them thinly. Wash and chop the spring onions. Combine all ingredients in a bowl. For the dressing, simply make a vinegar and oil dressing, then add 2 tablespoons of sweet mustard. Drizzle the dressing over the salad just before serving. Perfect as a barbecue side dish or as a summer meal on warm days.
