sweet, with baking powder
Mix the quark, 90 ml buttermilk, the oil, 100 g sugar, vanilla sugar, and a pinch of salt. Mix the flour with 1 1/2 packets of baking powder and knead in portions. Shape the dough into a loaf and place it on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 15-20 minutes. In the meantime, mix the egg yolk, 1 pinch of salt, and 10 ml buttermilk. After the 20 minutes of baking time, brush the bread with this mixture and bake for another 10-15 minutes at 175°C, uncovering it towards the end if necessary. Tip: Shape the dough into a plaited loaf, top with colored boiled eggs, and continue to process as usual, or sprinkle with flaked almonds after brushing.
