Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g minced meat, mixed
- 200 g cream
- 150 ml carbonated mineral water
- 4 tbsp breadcrumbs
- 750 g onion(s)
- Salt
- pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 55 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 25 minutes
Season the minced meat with salt and pepper. Add the cream, water, and breadcrumbs and knead thoroughly. Slice the onions. Place in a pan, brown lightly, and simmer over low heat for about 10 minutes. Fold half of the onions into the meat mixture. Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish. Spread the remaining onions on top. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius (convection oven) for about 40-45 minutes. Serve with mashed potatoes or simply with a baguette.
