Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg apples, clear apples or corn apples
  • 1 package of gelling sugar, 3:1 (500 g)
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 2 pinches of clove powder
  • 200 ml water (as needed)
  • ½ lemon(s), the juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

from early apples

Peel and core the apples, quarter them, and place them in water to prevent them from tarnishing. Add a dash of lemon juice to the water. Pour the gelling sugar (3:1) over the peeled apples and add all the other ingredients. Let everything steep for a while, then bring to a boil for 4 minutes according to the instructions. Then pour the mixture into clean, prepared twist-off jars, seal tightly, and let cool.
