Asparagus and ham rolls in aspic

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 7 slice(s) ham, cooked
  • 7 stalk(s) asparagus
  • ¼ liter white wine
  • ¼ liter of water
  • 6 g salt
  • 3 g lemon pepper, crushed
  • 1 g nutmeg
  • 5 g Maggi (approx. 6 dashes)
  • 75 g gelatine, ground
  • Chives, cut into rolls

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Heat the white wine, water, salt, nutmeg, lemon pepper, and Maggi in the microwave at 900 watts for about 2 minutes at 90°C. Add the gelatin and dissolve while stirring. Swirl a small amount of the aspic into a suitable storage bowl (or icebox, for example). Sprinkle the chives on top and let cool. Brush the ham slices and asparagus with the aspic and roll them up tightly. Place the rolls in the dish. Pour the remaining aspic over them and let cool completely. Rinse the aspic briefly with hot water and turn out onto a suitable surface for slicing.
