Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g baking mix, for farmer’s bread
  • 40 g ham, raw, diced
  • 30 g fried onions
  • 1 tbsp oil (sunflower)
  • n. B. Salt
  • Water, according to package instructions

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 3 hours 15 minutes; Total time approx. 3 hours 20 minutes

Heat oil in a pan and fry the ham and fried onions for about 3 minutes. Add salt, if desired. Drain slightly in a sieve and let cool. Pour the bread mix and water into the bread maker according to the package instructions. Select the basic bread program, size: medium, baking time: quick (mine was 3 hours 14 minutes), and start the program. As soon as the tone sounds, add more ingredients. If your bread maker doesn’t have this option, after about 20 minutes, add the bacon and onion mixture and let the machine do the rest. One slice has just 1.4 g of fat.
