Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 20 g yeast, fresh
  • 70 ml milk, lukewarm
  • 350 g flour (type 405)
  • 70 g butter
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 pack flavoring (lemon)
  • Bitter almond flavor, a few drops of
  • Powdered sugar for dusting
  • Fat for the mold

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Dissolve the fresh yeast in the lukewarm milk and let it rise for about 10 minutes. Combine the wheat flour with the butter, sugar, lemon flavoring, and bitter almond oil in a bowl and add the dissolved yeast to the lukewarm milk. Knead the dough into a smooth dough, divide into 12 portions, and shape into rolls. Place the rolls in a greased springform pan (diameter: 26 cm) and let them rise in a warm place. After 10 minutes, cut each roll in the middle. Preheat oven to 180°C. Let the rolls rise for another 20-30 minutes. Then place in the oven and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the finished rolls from the oven and let them cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar. Serve warm or cold.
