Classic fillet toast

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 slices of toast (wholemeal toast)
  • 4 slices of pork fillet(s) approx. 1-1.5 cm thick (total 150-180 g fillet)
  • 4 slice(s) herb butter, thick
  • leaf lettuce
  • oil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

with herb butter

Heat a grill pan and grease it with a little oil. Season the pork fillet slices with salt and pepper, and cook on both sides until the fillets are cooked to your liking. Meanwhile, toast the slices of bread, place them on a plate, and arrange the washed lettuce leaves on top, generously covering the slices. Now place the fried fillet pieces on top and top each with a slice of herb butter. Season with freshly ground pepper! I use homemade herb butter, which allows me to make the slices larger, so they’re about the size of a fillet slice.
