Velvet foot bolete with garlic

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 300 g mushrooms (common velvet foot or enoki)
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 1 chili pepper(s)
  • 15 ml oil
  • 10 ml oyster sauce
  • 15 ml soy sauce, light
  • 15 ml water
  • some salt
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 spring onion(s)
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Clean the mushrooms. Chop the garlic, spring onions, and chili into small pieces. Combine the oil, oyster sauce, light soy sauce, water, chili, and salt in a small bowl and mix until smooth. Place the mushrooms in a baking dish, pour the sauce over them, and sprinkle with cumin powder. Place a lid on the baking dish or cover it tightly with aluminum foil. Cook in the oven for 20-25 minutes. Remove the lid or aluminum foil. Sprinkle the garlic, spring onions, and sesame seeds over the finished dish. Note: The velvet foot bolete is also sold as a cultivated mushroom under the name enoki.
