Spicy pointed cabbage with vanilla

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 pointed cabbage
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 4 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 chili pepper(s)
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 5 tbsp almond milk (almond drink)
  • 1 vanilla pod(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Dice the onion and slice the chili pepper into rings, then sauté both in oil. Remove the stalk and cut the pointed cabbage into thin strips and add. Scrape out the seeds from the vanilla bean and add. Season with salt and pepper, add the almond milk, and simmer. The cabbage should still be firm to the bite. Serve with boiled potatoes.
