Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 cantaloupe melon(s)
  • 400 g tomatoes
  • 250g mozzarella
  • 150 g raw ham
  • 5 sprigs basil
  • 5 sprigs of oregano
  • 5 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • some salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Remove the stems from the tomatoes and cut into bite-sized pieces. Cut the melon flesh into bite-sized pieces. Drain the mozzarella and tear it into smaller pieces. Cut the ham into bite-sized pieces. Wash the basil and oregano and spin dry. Finely chop the oregano leaves and cut the basil leaves into strips. Mix together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, oregano, pepper, and salt to make a salad dressing. Arrange the tomatoes, melon, mozzarella, and ham on plates, drizzle with the dressing, sprinkle with the basil, and grind more pepper. Baguette, for example, goes very well with this.
