Flambéed bananas

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 bananas
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 cl brandy
  • 4 tsp sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Peel the bananas and halve them lengthwise. Melt the butter in a pan, fry the banana halves for about 5 minutes, and sprinkle with sugar. Heat the brandy in a ladle, remove the pan from the heat, ignite the brandy, and pour it over the bananas. Serve immediately. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
