Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g salmon fillet(s)
  • 2 slice(s) smoked salmon
  • 1 bunch of chives
  • 2 shallots
  • 4 tbsp lemon juice
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 pinches of salt
  • 1 pinch of pepper
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp crème fraîche
  • ½ bunch chives, cut into rolls
  • 2 pinches of salt
  • 2 pinches of pepper
  • 4 slices of white bread

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cut the raw salmon fillet into small cubes and the smoked salmon into small pieces. Peel the shallots and slice them into thin rings. Mix with 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, olive oil, 3 pinches of salt, 1 teaspoon of sugar, and 1 pinch of pepper. Let it sit in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes. In the meantime, toast the white bread. Whisk together the crème fraîche, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, chives, 2 pinches of salt, and 2 pinches of pepper in a blender. Serve the salmon tartare in a cup or similar container with the lemon and chive cream and toasted white bread. Delicious on a warm summer day.
