Breakfast – Muffins

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g flour
  • 2 packets of dry yeast
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 pinches of salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 150 g butter, soft
  • 6 tbsp milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

made from yeast dough, for 12 pieces

All ingredients should be at room temperature. Mix the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt in a bowl. Add the eggs, butter, and milk one at a time and knead the dough well. Let it rise for at least half an hour. Preheat the oven to 190°C. Grease a muffin tin or line it with paper baking cups. With wet hands, form 12 portions of the dough, divide them between the muffin tins, and bake for 20 to 25 minutes. You can also add raisins or chocolate chips to the dough if you like, but I prefer to eat them with butter and homemade jam. Tip: The unbaked portions of dough also freeze well, so you can thaw them the night before breakfast and bake them fresh the next morning.
