Corn on the cob grilled with bacon

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 corn cobs
  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • 16 slice(s) bacon, thin (e.g. farmer’s bacon)

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Remove the leaves and strings from the corn cobs, halve the cobs crosswise, boil for 20 minutes until just tender, drain, and cool. Brush the corn with the mustard, wrap 4 slices of bacon around each cob, and place on a greased “Gourmet Grill Plate” or on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Grilling on the grill: Place the grill plate on the grill about 5 cm from the medium embers and heat for about 5 minutes. Grill the corn for about 15 minutes, turning occasionally. Insert skewers on both sides to eat. Oven grill: Grill for about 15 minutes in the center of an oven preheated to 240°C. Turn once.
