Self-experiment: Fried potatoes with bacon and onions in white wine

Boil the potatoes in salted water and then peel. Then slice them. 5 minutes before the end of the cooking time, fry the bacon and onions in a little oil or butter. Add the potato slices to the pan with the bacon and onions. Cook for another 5-10 minutes. Deglaze with the white wine. Mix everything well again, then simmer gently with the lid on for another 5 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
