Pomegranate – Orange – Jelly

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 pomegranates
  • 1 lemon(s), the juice
  • 1 orange(s), unsprayed, juice and zest
  • 500 g gelling sugar, 2:1
  • some water if necessary

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Scrape out the flesh, seeds, and any remaining juice from the pomegranates with a teaspoon. Then squeeze the juice from the lemon and orange and add it to the mixture, along with the orange flesh if desired. Rinse the orange first, dry it, and then remove the zest (peel) with a zester or grater and add it to the fruit mixture. Add the 2:1 preserving sugar according to the instructions and mix. Then process and bring to a boil as directed on the bag. Pour the jelly into prepared twist-off jars and seal.
