Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 can of tuna
- ½ jar Remoulade with herbs
- 1 large onion(s)
- little salt
- pepper
- 1 pack of chives, frozen
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes
Drain the can of tuna and place it in a bowl. Add tartar sauce to taste (preferably a little less at first and then add a little more at the end depending on your taste and consistency). Finely dice the onions and add them to the bowl with the remaining ingredients: salt (not too much, as tuna is already quite salty), pepper, and all the chives. Mash everything vigorously with a fork and stir well. Season to taste and add more seasoning if necessary, or add tartar sauce. The mixture shouldn’t be too dry, but also shouldn’t contain too much tartar sauce. Ideal on a sandwich, for example, when having guests over for breakfast or in the evening for a snack, but also just as a snack. So far, people have been practically snatching the recipe out of my hands. It’s from “Mom.”
