Axel's breakfast curd

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g quark (low-fat quark)
  • Milk, as needed
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 bunch of chives (also available frozen)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch(s) pepper, to taste

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Whisk the quark and milk until smooth. Peel the onion and chop it into very fine cubes, add it to the quark along with the chives, and season with salt and pepper. It’s best to make the quark the day before and let it sit in the refrigerator. I like to eat the quark with fresh rolls topped with jam, jelly, beetroot syrup, and Nutella. Give it a try; you’ll love it!
