Hot bananas with vanilla ice cream

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 bananas
  • 50 g butter
  • 4 tbsp honey
  • 4 tbsp almond flakes
  • 1 tbsp Amaretto
  • 8 scoops of ice cream (vanilla)

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Halve the bananas lengthwise and fry in a pan with butter for about 2-3 minutes on each side. Do not overheat the heat so the butter doesn’t burn. While frying, add the honey and flaked almonds. Turn the bananas carefully to prevent them from breaking. Arrange two banana halves on each plate with almond sauce, top with two scoops of good vanilla ice cream, and drizzle with amaretto. Tip: For children, drizzle with jam instead of amaretto.
