Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 11 oranges
  • 100 ml orange liqueur
  • 500 g gelling sugar, 2:1
  • 4 star anise

Juice 4 oranges and peel the remaining oranges, removing the white pith. Then, using a sharp, pointed knife, cut the segments between the membranes and weigh out 500g. Squeeze the juice from the membranes, mix with the already squeezed juice, and measure out 400ml of juice. Combine the juice, liqueur, sugar, star anise, and segments in a saucepan. Bring to a boil over high heat, stirring continuously, and continue to simmer for another 3-4 minutes. Immediately fill the jam into decorative twist-off jars, seal, turn upside down for 5-10 minutes, then turn upside down again and allow to cool completely.
