Fresh figs with Parma ham

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 40 g arugula
  • 4 figs, ripe fresh
  • 4 slices of Parma ham
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp orange juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 tbsp honey, liquid
  • 1 small chili pepper(s), red

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Tear the arugula into bite-sized pieces and arrange on 4 plates. Quarter the figs and arrange them on top of the arugula. Cut the ham into strips and arrange them on top of the salad. Combine the oil, orange juice, and honey in a small screw-top jar and shake vigorously until a thick dressing forms. Chop the chili pepper into small pieces with a sharp knife, add it to the dressing, and stir well. (Do not touch your face until you have thoroughly washed your hands.) Drizzle the dressing over the prepared salad and toss to combine. Serve immediately.
