Salmon Cakes with Dip

The perfect salmon cakes with dip recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

For the cakes:

  • 170 gr Smoked salmon
  • 0,25 piece Red peppers
  • 2 piece Spring onions
  • 2 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp Mustard hot
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 Egg
  • 0,5 tsp Sweet paprika powder
  • 0,5 tsp Garlic powder
  • 90 gr Panko flour
  • Possibly salt
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil for frying

For the dip:

  • 3 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Mustard hot
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Capers
  • 0,5 bunch Parsley smooth
  • 1 small Clove of garlic
  • Salt
  1. Cut the salmon into small pieces, dice the peppers very finely, cut the spring onions into fine rings and chop them again. Add everything to the salmon. Whisked egg with it. In addition to the panko flour, add all the other ingredients and spices and mix well. If necessary, add a little salt to taste. Finally, add the panko flour and form 6 flat cakes from the mixture. Heat olive oil in a pan and fry the cakes on each side over medium heat for about 5 minutes until golden.
  2. In the meantime, chop the capers for the dip, press the garlic and mix all other ingredients well. If you prefer more dip, you can also double the ingredients. Serve the dip with the cakes.
