Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 150 g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch of baking soda
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 200 ml milk
- 1 m.-sized egg(s)
- some cinnamon
- butter
- 1 large apple
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Peel the apple and remove the core. Then cut the flesh into very small, thin pieces. If you don’t like pieces, you can also grate the apple. Place the first 7 ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix into a smooth batter. Finally, fold in the apple pieces. Let the batter rest briefly. Put a little butter in a pan and heat. Add 2 tablespoons of the batter to each pan and spread it out carefully. Turn after about 1 minute (careful! It will brown quickly) and fry briefly on the other side. This way you can use up all the batter and keep the finished apple pancakes warm. If you like, you can serve each serving with a scoop of vanilla ice cream while the pancakes are still warm. Variation: Instead of the apple, you can add a mashed banana to the batter and instead of the cinnamon, add a tablespoon of honey to the batter.
