Pork ribs from the oven

Spread the love

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 800 g pork ribs, halved lengthwise and crosswise
  • some rosemary sprig(s), fresh
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 55 minutes

simply

Season the trimmed ribs with salt, pepper, and paprika. Line an ovenproof dish generously with baking paper and place the ribs bone-down on the baking paper, then arrange the rosemary sprigs on top. Then cover the dish tightly with the baking paper to prevent steam from escaping. Place the ribs in the oven, which has already been preheated to 200°C (top and bottom heat), and cook for 30 minutes. Then reduce the temperature to 160°C (320°F) and cook for another 90 minutes. Before the 90 minutes are up, open the baking paper and heat the oven back up to 200°C (400°F). Let the ribs crisp up for about 15 minutes. The great thing about this recipe is that it keeps your oven clean. Anything that tastes good goes with it.
