Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g strawberries, fresh
  • 100 g sugar
  • 125 ml water
  • 3 tbsp tequila
  • 1 tbsp grenadine
  • some lemon juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 3 hours 10 minutes

a refreshing delicacy between two main courses

Wash the strawberries and remove the stems. Boil the sugar and water until smooth and let it cool completely. Halve the well-drained strawberries and puree them in a blender. Add the smoother, tequila, grenadine, and a little lemon juice and blend again. Let this mixture chill in a bowl in the refrigerator for 2 hours. When the strawberry mixture is completely cold, pour it into the ice cream maker and freeze until it reaches the desired consistency.
