Spread the love

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Day-old rolls with Mett

Halve the rolls and hollow out the tops (you can reuse the bottoms for breadcrumbs, etc.). Spread the minced meat into the hollow to create a smooth surface. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Now fry the rolls on both sides (the minced meat side first) in margarine until they’re nicely browned. Tip: If you like, you can also fry onion rings and place them on the finished rolls. Add a gherkin, or top with cheese. We always use this to use up the rolls and minced meat from a party the night before.
