Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 250 g chicken fillet(s)
- 4 carrots
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 kohlrabi
- 100 g bulgur
- 400 ml vegetable stock
- 200 ml white wine
- salt and pepper
- nutmeg
- Ginger
- Spice(s) of your choice
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
Cut the meat into cubes. Clean and dice the vegetables. Finely chop the garlic cloves and sauté in oil. Add the meat and cook until thoroughly cooked, then add the vegetables and cook until browned. Cover the pot and simmer for 15 minutes on low heat. Then add the bulgur, pour in the stock and wine. Simmer for another 10-15 minutes, uncovered this time, until the liquid is absorbed. Season to taste with salt, pepper, ginger, nutmeg, lemon, etc. It’s also likely to be delicious with pumpkin, pineapple, corn, and the like.
