Ingredients for 3 servings:
- ½ kg chicken breast fillet(s), cut into cubes
- 10 cm sausage, hot, diced
- 1 bell pepper(s), diced
- 3 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1 can/n tomatoes
- ½ tsp chili pepper(s), dried, crumbled
- ½ tsp pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp Tabasco
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 jar rice
- 2 jars chicken broth
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Recipe from New Orleans
Heat oil in a pan and brown the chicken and sausage. Add the onion, garlic, bell pepper, chili pepper, spices, and hot sauce and cook for 5 minutes. Add the tomatoes, rice, and broth and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer until the rice is tender. Stir occasionally. Season to taste; it needs to be very spicy.
