  • 200 ml cream
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 40 g butter
  • 150 g sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla (ground)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

soft and creamy

Place the milk, sugar, vanilla, and butter in a saucepan, heat, and bring to a boil briefly while stirring. Then remove the pan from the heat. Whip the cream until stiff. Stir the whipped cream and sour cream into the milk, return to the heat, and bring to a boil again. Allow the mixture to cool completely. Then process in the ice cream maker according to the model’s instructions. After about 20 minutes, sprinkle the chocolate chips into the mixture. If the ice cream is not being made in an ice cream maker, the mixture must be thoroughly mixed with a hand mixer 2-3 times during the freezing process to ensure it is nice and creamy. Here, too, the chocolate chips are only added once the ice cream has frozen.
