Paprika cream sauce

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 ml beef broth
  • 100 g butter
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 1 cup crème fraîche
  • 3 bell peppers, cut into strips
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder, sweet
  • Cayenne pepper
  • possibly cornstarch or drawn butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Reduce the beef broth and cream by half. Then simmer the remaining ingredients, except for the butter, in this broth for 5-7 minutes. Stir the cut butter into pieces into the sauce and season again to taste. If the sauce is too runny, thicken with cornstarch or caster sugar. Now you can adjust the spiciness to your liking by adding or removing cayenne pepper at the end. This sauce tastes best with schnitzel and French fries.
