Cheese and sausage salad with two kinds of mustard dressing

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 6 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 7 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • 2 tbsp mustard, hot
  • 2 tbsp mustard, sweet
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 ½ onions, red
  • 500 g meat sausage or Leberkäse
  • 300 g Emmental cheese
  • ½ bunch chives

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

For the dressing, combine the vinegar, oil, sugar, and both mustards with a little salt and pepper in a bowl. Peel the onions, halve them, and slice them lengthwise into thin strips. Thinly slice the sausage and cheese. Finely chop the chives. Add everything to the dressing and stir in. Marinate the salad for at least 15 minutes and season with salt and pepper if desired.
