Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 200 g butter
- 100 g sugar
- 1 bag of vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 4 m.-sized eggs
- 175 g flour
- 20 g cocoa powder
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 25 g chocolate shavings
- 20 ml rum or rum flavoring to taste
- some fat for the waffle iron
- some powdered sugar for sprinkling
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes
for 6 waffles
Cream the butter with sugar, vanilla sugar, and a pinch of salt until fluffy. Gradually add the eggs. Combine the flour with the baking powder and cocoa powder and add to the batter a spoonful at a time. Finally, add the rum and grated chocolate, mix well, and let the batter rest for 30 minutes. Then bake the waffles in a greased waffle iron. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve warm. This recipe makes 6 waffles.
