Mc's plums in puff pastry

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g puff pastry
  • 6 large plums
  • some jam (plum jam)
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon sugar
  • some powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Roll out the puff pastry and cut into 12 square pieces. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (convection oven) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the puff pastry squares on the prepared baking sheet. Wash, halve, and pit the plums. Spoon the plum jam into the pitted hole of each plum halve. Place one plum half, filled hole down, on each puff pastry square. Whisk the egg yolks and brush the pastry around the plums. Sprinkle with a little cinnamon sugar. Bake in the oven for about 10-15 minutes. When the squares are golden brown, remove them. Let the puff pastry cool, dust with powdered sugar, and serve. Tip: If you prefer something sweeter, this also tastes delicious with canned peach halves instead of the plums. Replace the plum jam with apricot jam.
