Plum crumble

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 750 g plums
  • 60 g sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp Marsala
  • Butter for the mold
  • 100 g oat flakes, fine
  • 90 g brown sugar
  • 75 g flour
  • 90 g butter, soft

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Wash, pit, and halve the plums. In a bowl, mix the plum halves with the sugar, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, lemon juice, and Marsala wine. Then arrange the plums in a buttered 28 cm casserole or quiche dish. Preheat oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat). In a second bowl, mix the oats, brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon, and flour. Knead in the softened butter until everything is combined. Sprinkle the mixture crumbly over the plums. Bake the plum crumble for about 40 minutes until golden brown. Tip: If you like the crumbs a little crispier and crunchy brown, you can briefly set the oven to broil at the end until the desired brownness is achieved. Plum crumble tastes best when served hot. Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
