Beans with bacon sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g beans (e.g. chopped beans)
  • 200 g bacon, diced
  • 1 onion(s), finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 150 ml water
  • some vinegar
  • salt and pepper
  • Sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cook the beans thoroughly. Sauté the bacon and onions, add the flour, and stir in water until smooth. Season the sauce with vinegar, salt, pepper, and sugar. Add the beans to the sauce and let it simmer briefly. Tip: Serve with coleslaw, boiled or jacket potatoes, or pasta.
