Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 380 g flour
- 1 packet of dry yeast
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 250 ml water
- 200 g cheese (Gouda), grated
- 1 egg yolk for brushing
- 50 ml milk for brushing
- 200 g cheese (Gouda), grated for sprinkling

Knead the first 6 ingredients thoroughly and let it rise for 2 hours. The dough will be wonderfully soft and not sticky! Whisk together the egg yolk and milk. Place the remaining cheese in a plate. Preheat the oven to 250°C. Form the dough into rolls, brush with the milk mixture, and roll them generously in the cheese. Bake for about 20 minutes.
