Chicken schnitzel in tomato sauce and mozzarella

Season the chicken schnitzels with salt and pepper. You can also add paprika and curry powder if you like. Then wrap them in the ham and place them in the casserole dish. Dice the onion and garlic, then fry them. Add the tomato paste and fry them lightly. Deglaze with water and cream and add the herbs. Pour the sauce over the schnitzels. Slice the mozzarella, spread it on top, and cook everything at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 30 minutes. Serve with rice or pasta. Tip: I sometimes add bell peppers or mushrooms to the dish; they also taste delicious.
