Minced meat sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 onion(s), diced
  • 30 g bacon, finely diced
  • 300 g minced meat, half and half
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 300 ml meat broth
  • 150 ml red wine
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder, sweet

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Fry the bacon in a pan. Add the ground beef and fry until crumbly. Then add the diced onion and fry. Add the tomato paste, broth, red wine, and seasoning. Simmer uncovered over low heat for about 30 minutes. Season to taste. Serve with pasta. Tip: If you like it spicy, add a dash of Tabasco or pepper sauce.
