Chicken and sour cream pan

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg chicken meat
  • 2 large onions
  • 200 ml sour cream
  • some oil
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 300 ml broth or water
  • some salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Wash the chicken, dry it, and fry it in a little oil until golden brown, then season with salt. Cover the pot or pan and cook the meat over low heat for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, fry the onions in another pan until golden brown, finely chop the garlic, and add it to the onions. Then add the vegetables to the meat. Then add the sour cream and stock or water. Mix the flour with a little cold water and add it to the pan to thicken the sauce. Let everything simmer for another 5 minutes. Serve with mashed potatoes.
