  • 200 g bacon or bacon, cut into thin strips
  • some oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

baked under the grill in a bacon coating

Wash the beans and cook them in salted water. They should still be firm to the bite, or al dente. Then plunge them into cold water. This stops the cooking process abruptly and keeps the beans firm. Wrap about 10 beans each in a strip of bacon and secure with a wooden skewer. Repeat this process for all the beans. Brush the bean skewers with a little oil, lightly dust with the breadcrumbs, and place them on a baking tray. Place the tray containing the bean skewers under the hot grill until the bacon and breadcrumbs have turned a golden yellow. These skewers can be eaten hot or cold.
