Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 3 Mettwurst sausages
  • 500 g peas (shelled peas)
  • 1 bunch of soup vegetables
  • 3 onions
  • 4 potatoes
  • possibly bacon cubes
  • Water
  • some nutmeg
  • some salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Slice the sausages. Peel the potatoes. Cut the vegetables and potatoes into medium-sized pieces. Chop the onions into small pieces. Brown the onions and sausages in a pan. Add bacon, if desired, and deglaze with water. Add the vegetables and cover with water. Cook for 30-45 minutes, until tender, increasing the cooking time if necessary. Season to taste.
