Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 500 g beans, lactic acid fermented
- 500 g potatoes, diced
- 500 g pork belly, sliced or smoked bacon
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Heat a little oil in a pot. Briefly brown the meat. Then add the beans (do not drain or rinse) and bring to a boil. Simmer on low heat for about 60 minutes. Twenty-five minutes before the end of the cooking time, add the potatoes to another pot, just covered with water, and bring to a boil. At the end of the cooking time, remove the meat from the pot, dice it, and return it to the beans. Then add the cooked potatoes and their cooking water and mash everything with a masher until mushy.
