Versatile eggless mug cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 4 tbsp, heaped flour
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 1 tbsp sunflower oil

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 3 minutes; Total time approx. 8 minutes

Combine the ingredients in a large mug and mix with a fork until smooth. Place the mug with the batter in the microwave for 2-3 minutes at 700 watts. The time may vary depending on the microwave. After 2 minutes, check whether the batter is already firm on the surface. If not, add 30-60 seconds, depending on how you feel. Be careful when removing the mug, as it will be very hot. Tip: I like to use Kaba instead of cocoa, for example, and only use 1 tablespoon of sugar, or no cocoa at all, but more flour, or refine the cake with ground nuts or chopped almonds.
